Dennis Lucia: Dennis Lucia has an extensive and impressive diving history. He developed the first Surface-supplied dive training program for the Northwest tribal people interested in harvesting geoduck in 1995. Since then he has trained over 2,000 tribal members from thirteen tribes. He is currently a board member of the Northwest Diving History Association. He was an instructor and also serves on the Professional Advisory Council at Diver’s Institute of Technology. While his diving experience is extensive his passion is for teaching diving.

John Yackel, a seasoned scuba diver with over 30 years of experience, has dedicated his career to advancing diving and promoting safety. With a robust background in diving, John’s expertise is evident in his navigation of complex underwater environments and contribution to safety protocols.

John actively promotes diving through educational initiatives, workshops, and community engagement, fostering a culture of safety and professionalism

Recognized for his commitment to safety, John has played a key role in developing safety standards, training programs, and innovations, influencing industry practices.
